Esthefany Castillo • Jun 30, 2022

Cannabis tourism is leisure travel where marijuana is legal with the intention of enjoying its consumption while away in retreat. This industry is booming as nations around the world follow suit in legalizing the medicinal plant. At the moment, a total of 19 states and Washington, D.C., have legalized recreational cannabis. In May 2022, Forbes published a profile on the growing industry titled “Cannabis Tourism Is Now A $17 Billion Industry—And It’s Just Taking Off,” which highlights the increase in Bud-and-Breakfast, cannabis farm tours, and smoking- friendly hotels. Hospitality brands are beginning to understand that in order to stay competitive, they too need to embrace cannabis-friendly travel. In the meantime, here are the seven of the top cannabis-friendly hotels around the world.
