What is the guest cancellation policy?
1. Initial Booking:
- If a guest cancels within 24 hours of the initial booking, they are entitled to a full refund.
2. Cancellations by Guests:
- If cancelled more than 14 days before the arrival or event date, guests will receive a 50% refund, excluding any service fees.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the arrival or event date are non-refundable.
3. Cancellations by Hosts:
- If the host cancels the booking, the guest receives a full refund, irrespective of when the cancellation is made.
4. Cancellation Fees:
- Bookings under $250: $25 fee
- Bookings between $250.01 and $1000: $50 fee
- Bookings over $1000: $100 fee
(Note: These fees are deducted from the refund amount.)
5. Extenuating Circumstances:
Cannavacays allows for full refunds in the following extenuating circumstances for short-term bookings:
- Natural disaster in the area of the booked property.
- Political unrest in the guest’s home country.
- Severe weather conditions that make it impossible or unsafe to travel.
